Bernardo Lopez
Bernardo Lopez is an Associate Attorney whose practice is dedicated to criminal defense and post conviction relief.
Upon completion of law school, Mr. Lopez worked as a Certified Law Clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. While at the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Lopez assisted with both misdemeanors and felonies. He conducted many preliminary hearings and participated in the preparation of numerous felony jury trials.
While Mr. Lopez was in law school, mass factory immigration sweeps took place in Michigan. Mr. Lopez became actively involved in immigrant rights organizations and served as a panelist in a workshop designed to inform immigrants of their constitutional rights.
Mr. Lopez served as the Vice Magister for the John Maher Inn of the international legal fraternity of Phi Delta Phi. As a student, a panel of law professors awarded him the Distinguished Student of Character and Integrity Award.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Lopez was a paralegal for the Law Offices of Rodriguez & Pullara for nine years. His experience and interest in the areas of criminal defense and immigrant rights motivated him to become an attorney.
